1. Using Highlighter Pen
These terms apply to the Highlighter Pen Chrome extension. Using it means you agree to these terms; otherwise, stop using it. Contact us with questions.
2. Free and Pro features
Free includes annotation tools, up to 20 combined annotations per page and watermarked normal screenshots. Pro removes these limits and adds HD PNG, visible-area PDF, Markdown feedback, local history and custom source information. Browser and website restrictions can prevent annotation or capture.
3. Purchases and account access
Pro currently costs 9.99 USD once, with no recurring subscription. The final amount and applicable taxes appear at checkout. Sign in, purchase with the same email, then refresh payment status in the extension. Retain access to your purchase email; do not share accounts or payment credentials. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
4. Your content and local storage
You retain rights to your own annotations and must have permission to capture and share third-party content. History is local with no cross-device cloud sync. Website changes, clearing storage or uninstalling may affect or delete annotations. Export important work as backup. See the Privacy Policy for information handling.
5. Acceptable use
Do not break the law, infringe rights, bypass access restrictions, distribute malicious content or disrupt the service. Pro grants access to paid features, not ownership of the extension or rights to third-party content.
6. Availability and limitations
Compatibility with every website and uninterrupted browser, sign-in or payment services are not guaranteed. HD upscaling cannot create missing source detail. PDF captures the visible area, not the full scrolling page. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that applicable law protects.
